benerail is your trusted partner for seamless booking of international train journeys through Europe. We do this by combining national and international railway carriers from various countries to create one virtual railway system. By connecting them all via our unique API platform, we make the booking process quick, simple, stress-free and crystal clear.

Benerail began in 2003 as a joint venture between the two national railway companies from Belgium and the Netherlands. Its mission was to facilitate seamless travel between the countries. One single ticket needed for international travel between the two countries.

Since then, benerail has steadily branched out to 17 railway systems to cover 15 countries. Through benerail, travel through these countries can now be booked as one trip – one ticket needed for the full journey.

As the expert in international combinability, benerail’s ultimate goal is to cover all European countries for an 800+ km reach of climate-neutral travel by train. With almost two decades of experience under our belts, we are quickly making solid progress towards our goal.
